Grilling out, watching parades, spending time with family, and wearing red, white, and blue are among our favorite ways to celebrate Independence Day. But arguably, one of the best 4th of July traditions is the fireworks.
If you’re looking for the perfect place to catch a show this year, look no further. We’ve compiled a list of all the firework displays happening in the Dells on 4th of July Weekend.
1. Downtown Dells
First up is the 4th of July Celebration in Downtown Wisconsin Dells! With free family fun like live music and a kids pedal tractor pull, there will be no shortage of things to keep you busy until the fireworks show at dusk!
2. Riverfront Terrace
Enjoy live music from Water Street Jacks at Riverfront Terrace on July 4th starting at 6pm! The show will be followed by fireworks and accompanied by the usual combination of refreshing drinks, delicious food, and stunning views of the Wisconsin river. Need we say more?
3. Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park
One of the Dells’ largest fireworks displays is included in your stay at Mt. Olympus! On July 4th, enjoy the rollercoasters & water slides by day, and an amazing show at night! Parking is free and there will be plenty of seating at The River Troy, and plenty of room to spread out across the Lower Water Park. There’s not a bad seat in the park, with views from just about anywhere. Gates open to hotel guests at 8pm.
4. Wilderness Resort
Celebrate Independence Day at the Wilderness! Starting 11am on July 4th, Wilderness Resort will have games & activities for kids and a specialty Firecracker cocktail for the adults!
At dusk, get ready for the annual fireworks display! No need to fight traffic – the show is right at the resort! They launch the fireworks near the Glacier Canyon Conference Center, so the best seats will be near or around Lost World Waterpark. You provide the ooooohs and ahhhhhs and they’ll provide the booms!
5. Chula Vista Resort
Play all day in the waterpark on July 4th or join in the festive holiday activities in Kids HQ like slime time, painting, sand art, friendship bracelets and more! Then relax at night with at the Palapa Beach Bar and enjoy the Grand Fireworks Display! The dazzling show can also be viewed from various other locations throughout the resort.
6. Kalahari Resort
An all-American celebration that you just have to see to believe: the Red, White, and Blue Fireworks Spectacular! On July 4th, when the sun begins to set, get ready for a synchronized event with music and aerial pyrotechnics joining together to create a truly spectacular show!
The fireworks can be viewed at the outdoor waterpark and the show is open to the public! It’s $25 per vehicle and there are no carry-ins allowed.
